Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and musician. He was born on July 2, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Burna Boy rose to fame in 2012 with his hit single “Like To Party” and has since become one of Africa’s most successful and influential musicians. He has released several critically acclaimed albums, including “L.I.F.E. (Leaving an Impact for Eternity)” in 2013, “On a Spaceship” in 2015, “Outside” in 2018, and “African Giant” in 2019.

Burna Boy’s music is a fusion of Afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop. He is known for his smooth vocal delivery, infectious melodies, and socially conscious lyrics that address political and social issues affecting Africa and the world at large.

Burna Boy has won numerous awards for his music, including the BET Award for Best International Act in 2019 and 2020, the MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act in 2019, and the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2021 for his album “Twice as Tall.” He has also collaborated with several international artists, including Beyoncé, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and Jorja Smith.
